Ah, the future. What glorious treasures awaited us. What happened? Sure, we have the iPhone but most of those science-fiction ideas of yesteryear failed to appear. The pictures from the 1950s pulp novels look nothing like my street today. Sigh. I wonder if those predictions would have ever been accurate, no matter what they predicted.
