Born to be Wilde

This was my Oscar Wilde getup for Saturday. Good times. Thanks to Rose for help with the costuming and Watts Costume Rentals as well. I lost by one point to Robert Burns. I was astounded and how sad Wilde's poetry was, though, compared to the levity and biting wit of his plays and his quips. From what I hear that was in fashion at the time.





There is only one thing worse that being talked about, and that is not being talked about.

I shall have to investigate this Kate Beaton further, I think. Oh, forgot about his lip. I could have jutted my chin out a little further for the effect, Brando style. : )
